And I’m not just impressed because they’re on sale. I’m amazed that you can buy these kinds of things on Amazon at all. I mean, I know. I get it. It’s more a matter of what can’t you buy on Amazon. But these things in particular delight the dark side of my heart.

Okay. Who’s been keeping this secret about all the different ghost canvas wall art for sale on Amazon? Luckily Fate intervened and they came up as a “Based on your interests” recommendation. The first one I saw was the Ghost in an Ivy-Covered Window canvas. (Which was a great deal at 45% off for Prime Day.) I immediately added it (and 10 more, plus two collage sets) to The Boo-tique section of the Skareporium. It’s also what sparked the idea for this post.

The vampire garlic crusher isn’t a Prime Day Deal, but the scissors and a few other things from that same maker are, including a different style garlic press.

Peculiar Pets Prime Day 2024 Deals
Turns out, I’ve spent all these years not searching the right words on Amazon when it comes to my pets. The keyword I’ve been missing? “Horror.” As I was updating the Peculiar Pets section of the Skareporium, I added it, and it unlocked a whole new world of finds.
My favorite are the gothic cat towers. Sadly, Mr. G (our cat) is not a tower kind of a boy. But maybe he just didn’t like inheriting the towers of our past cats. Maybe if I got him one that’s all his own with a comfy coffin bed to sleep in, he might become a cat tower convert. There are several Prime Day gothic cat tower deals to choose from. The trouble is deciding which one to pick.

I’ve seen “bestseller” tags on Amazon before, but one had one I’d never seen: “#3 Most Gifted.” At least when it comes to the category of Fortune Telling Toys. It’s rated very highly too. Of the over 5,000 ratings, 70% of them are 5-star.
Top 100 Horror Movies Scratch Off Poster
This was another recent “WTF is that and how did I now know Amazon sold it?” find. Imagine my delight to see it was among the Prime Day deals this year. I popped one in the cart for Smalls and myself, and I may or may not have ordered one as an early Halloween present for a horror-loving friend. (Okay. You’re right. Busted. I totally ordered it for her.)
Midnight Chills Horror Movie Puzzle
This one looks like it’d be a tough puzzle to put together, but a rewarding accomplishment once done. And worthy of framing and hanging afterward. It doesn’t have a lot of reviews on it, but of the ones it does have, 71% are 5-star.
Not Board to Death Games
I’m nuts about game nights in general, but my game preferences lean towards a decidedly more twisted side. When I realized there are a lot of those kinds of games out there, I created a Not Board to Death Games section for them in the Skareporium.
Several that I don’t have yet but have been eyeing for a long time include Medium and Couch Skeletons. Both are among the Prime Day Deals this year. Score!

The NOLA Crypt Horror Ornament is a recent addition to the Macabre Ornament section of the Skareporium and was the only Prime Day Deal there. It was also the one of the biggest discounted items at 50% off.
