Looking for a last-minute gift idea? Or are you trying to avoid malls and the hassle of wrapping and shipping presents? Or maybe you just want to give a unique gift? Whatever your motivation, here are seven great gift experiences for the people on your list who love the paranormal.
Note: Some of the following picks are from our affiliates. If you purchase anything after clicking some of the link(s) or image(s), we may earn a small commission. (For which the Skeleton Crew says, “Thank you!” That helps cover our website maintenance and hosting fees!)
1.The Haunting at Home Paranormal Adventure
This is a great gift experience. Investigate at home with The Haunting at Home Paranormal Adventure from our partners at The Haunted Walk. The narrator, Jim Dean, leads you through a series of six experiments. Will you experience any paranormal activity? (Even if your home isn’t haunted, chances are pretty good based on their results so far.)
Normally $34.99, but use code HAUNTJAUNTS to save 50%!

2. Ghost Hunts USA Gift Card
Ghost Hunts USA hosts paranormal events in haunted locations all across the U.S., from haunted asylums and hospitals to penitentiaries and jails. They even host psychic dinners and psychic development workshops with ghost hunts.
They offer e-gift cards that you can purchase in any amount you want from $5 to $1,000. They can be put toward whatever event your recipient wants to experience.

3. Let’s Roam Scavenger Hunt
Give the gift of adventure and capture memories this holiday season. Let’s Roam is another of our affiliates. They offer mostly scavenger hunts (both outdoor and in-home). However, in some cases, they even offer ghost tour scavenger hunts. Primarily in the most haunted cities, such as New Orleans, Savannah, Charleston, Gettysburg, St. Augustine, etc. However, they even have ghost tours in cities you might not expect to find them, like Austin, Denver, and St. Paul.
And if you’re looking for a way to connect with loved ones far away, what better way than with a virtual game night? Let’s Roam offers a variety of game experiences, from trivia and Guess Where (a location-based knowledge game) to drawing and decoding emoji sentences and phrases.
Each player needs an app and a code to do the outdoor scavenger hunts. Tickets are $12.99 a player. Annual passes are also available for $69.99. Virtual game nights start at $39.99 for one game or $19.99 a month for unlimited.

4. Nightly Spirits Gift Card
This gift experience is for the haunted foodie in your life! Nightly Spirits specializes in unique ghost tours like haunted food tours and haunted pub crawls.
They operate in Alexandria, Austin, Boston, Charleston, Charlotte, Chicago, Dallas, Denver, Houston, Nashville, New Orleans, San Antonio, Savannah, Seattle, St. Augustine, Tampa, Temecula or Washington DC. Some of these cities are under Covid restrictions, but their gift cards are valid for any tour in any city and have no expiration.

5. On Demand Ghost Tours from Home
US Ghost Adventures, based in Williamsburg, Virginia, still offers in person ghost tours, but thanks to Covid-19, they were forced to think outside the box like many tour companies had to this year. Their solution? Ghostflix!
Ghostflix offers On Demand ghost tours for 25 cities coast-to-coast, from Boston and Williamsburg to Gatlinburg and San Francisco. Each one costs $13 and unlike live tours, they’re available anytime so you can watch on your schedule.
For more info, visit: https://usghostadventures.com/ghostflix/.
6. Virtual Haunted Campfires
This is another cool gift experience available from The Haunted Walk. Cozy up around the fire –either one in your fireplace or a virtual one on your television– and be treated to a night of creepy ghost stories told by “top storytellers, haunted tour guides and ghost researchers from around the world.”
These events happened live during October, but similar to the Ghostflix On Demand tours, the Virtual Haunted Campfires are available to enjoy anytime you want.
There are six in the series, including Midnight Ghost Stories on Halloween Night, Terrible Tales for Creepy Kids, Canada Ghost to Ghost, Battlefield Ghosts, Haunted Jails and Other Tails, and Hidden Haunts. Each costs $10.
For more info, visit https://hauntedwalk.com/virtual-haunted-campfires/.
7. Virtual Live Ghost Tour Events
US Ghost Adventures also offers another product, Live Virtual Event Ghost Tours. They’re similar to their On Demand tours, except they’re live-streamed and you can interact with the guide!
These tours take place on Saturday nights at 7 pm in the time zone for that city. For example, in December three of the cities they’ll tour include Los Angeles (12/12, 7 pm PST), Seattle (12/19, 7 pm PST), and Nashville (12/26, 7 pm CST).
They add new ones all the time. They just added one for Philly on January 16 at 7 pm EST.
Tickets cost $15 per viewer.

Have you ever received, or given, a gift experience? Subscription boxes and the like count too. Tell me about it!
Courtney Mroch is a globe-trotting restless spirit who’s both possessed by wanderlust and the spirit of adventure, and obsessed with true crime, horror, the paranormal, and weird days. Perhaps it has something to do with her genes? She is related to occult royalty, after all. Marie Laveau, the famous Voodoo practitioner of New Orleans, is one of her ancestors. (Yes, really! As explained here.) That could also explain her infatuation with skeletons.
Speaking of mystical, to learn how Courtney channeled her battle with cancer to conjure up this site, check out HJ’s Origin Story.
