Movie Monday: Days of the Living Dead Web Series Season 3

Last year I wrote about Days of the Living Dead but I hadn’t watched any of their episodes yet. This year I have.

ABOUT DAYS OF THE LIVING DEAD

Their YouTube channel sums them up best, so I’m just going to let it do the talking. Days of the Living Dead is:

A haunted house reality web series following the adventures of Zombie Army as they gear up for this halloween season. Their haunted houses, Statesville Haunted Prison and The Fear on Navy Pier are two of the largest in the country. Follow the series and get a passenger seat perspective in the epic saga.

The clips are all short, less than  10 minutes. They release new ones on Thursdays.

They’re also as entertaining as they are enlightening. If you’ve ever wondered what happens behind the scenes and how haunted house actors prep for their parts, this is the show to watch. It’ll give you a whole new appreciation for the time, energy, inspiration, and creativity that goes into scaring the pants off (or piss out) of people.

Also, if you’ve ever had any desire to be a haunted attraction actor, you might learn a thing or two from watching their techniques and practices.

SEASON 3

Days of the Living Dead is currently in its third season on YouTube. (Hello? A&E or Syfy or some other cable network. You should think about picking the Zombie Army up as a reality show. It’s very cool.)

This season features appearances from many horror icons, including Robert Englund and Michael Rooker. Also, how do John’s younger brothers handle the pressure of being in charge after the company nearly fell apart?
