Well, it was another fun contest thanks to CrazyDog T-Shirts for supplying such awesome giveaway items, and to all those who took the time to enter the Team Michael, Jason or Zombie? Choose for a Chance to Win a CrazyDog T-Shirt giveaway.
Of course there was a glitch with the entry form. Naturally. I can never have a contest without someone having trouble entering. I apologize for that. I really hate when that happens! I revised the giveaway post to reflect entries were also being accepted via email or HJ’s Facebook page.
We ended up with a total of 13 entries. What a perfect number, eh?
The winner was Ellen Hudson who picked Team Zombie and the Gettin’ Down on Friday Shirt.
Speaking of picks, for any interested in which team got the most “votes” (for lack of a better word), it broke down like this:
- Team Michael – 6
- Team Jason – 3
- Team Zombies – 3
Now for any of you Math Inclined out there, you’ll realize that adds up to 12, not 13. I couldn’t figure out which Team Barry H. wanted. He said “chop, chop, chop, kill, kill, kill…” but that could be either Jason or Michael. It sort of reminds me of Jason’s movie theme music, but Mr. Myers has a penchant for chopping and killing too so… I’ll have to ask Barry which he meant.
And as far as what shirt was the most popular choice, hands down that’d be Haddonfield High. Here was the final number on those too.
- Haddonfield High – 8
- Gettin’ Down on Friday – 1
- Zombie Disguise – 3
Again, for any of your math whizzes out there, you’ll note that adds up to 12. Pamela K. didn’t specify a shirt when she made her entry, and her comment doesn’t give me a good idea if she would pick the zombies shirt in addition to Team Z so…one of these shirts has another vote coming to it.
And here’s the video evidence of proof that, yes, I really do draw names to pick winners.
Courtney Mroch is a globe-trotting restless spirit who’s both possessed by wanderlust and the spirit of adventure, and obsessed with true crime, horror, the paranormal, and weird days. Perhaps it has something to do with her genes? She is related to occult royalty, after all. Marie Laveau, the famous Voodoo practitioner of New Orleans, is one of her ancestors. (Yes, really! As explained here.) That could also explain her infatuation with skeletons.
Speaking of mystical, to learn how Courtney channeled her battle with cancer to conjure up this site, check out HJ’s Origin Story.
