One of my sister’s shared a post on Facebook with me the other day. It was from a post Toni Morris of The Cattaraugus County Ghost Hunters made on her Facebook page. Toni and her team are doing a fundraiser for the American Cancer Society.
Well, that’s one of the charities they’re trying to benefit. They’re also supporting Operation Dignity and Breathe and Release.
If you know anything about how Haunt Jaunts started, you know it was all due to my hitchhiker. (My euphemism for the cancer I had.) I of course always want to help out with cancer benefits whenever I can.
I’m going to be donating a couple of items to Toni’s cause that I hope they can use in their auction to raise money. But this post is also my attempt to help them spread the word.
I’ve copy & pasted Toni’s post below. If you have any items you can donate or any cash you can spare (they’re also accepting that), you can specify which cause you’d like it to go to.
If you can’t donate at this time, spreading this message on to others helps a lot too!
TONI’S CALL FOR HELP
If you look at my Facebook wall you will notice that my team is working extremely hard at raising money for the American Cancer Society. We also are supporting the Breathe and Release Program as well as Operation Dignity. I was wondering if anyone would be willing to donate a item or 2 (We are looking for anything to deal with paranormal and non paranormal topics such as books, DVDs, posters, signed pictures of groups, or ANY other items) for us to auction off as well as cash donations with 100% of the money going to your choice of 1, 2 or all 3 of the charities that my team works with? Please let me know if you or any one you know can help us with donations. REMEMBER IT IS FOR A GREAT CAUSE SO PLEASE NO NEGATIVE COMMENTS ON THIS POST! Thank you for any and all support in advance. If you want to help but can not spare anything PLEASE help by sharing this post! It is simple just click share to help us get the word out for a great cause! ANY QUESTIONS PLEASE FEEL FREE TO ASK ME, Toni Morris
Courtney Mroch is a globe-trotting restless spirit who’s both possessed by wanderlust and the spirit of adventure, and obsessed with true crime, horror, the paranormal, and weird days. Perhaps it has something to do with her genes? She is related to occult royalty, after all. Marie Laveau, the famous Voodoo practitioner of New Orleans, is one of her ancestors. (Yes, really! As explained here.) That could also explain her infatuation with skeletons.
Speaking of mystical, to learn how Courtney channeled her battle with cancer to conjure up this site, check out HJ’s Origin Story.
