I’m Sorry That I Scared Her, But I’m Going to Call That a Success!

“Other than that Mrs. Lincoln, how did you enjoy the play?”

I had the extreme pleasure of hearing from someone today who attempted a Haunt Spots tour last Saturday night. What he wrote says it all:

“I kinda made it out on Saturday. The girl I went with freaked out while listening to the recording at the second stop. So I’m going to have to try again with different company.”

Am I evil to have done a little happy dance when I read this? Nah. This intrepid Haunt Spots Explorer made it clear that it was all fun stuff and that he was looking forward to giving it another shot. Good for you, man. Go for it. I’ll be over here, hiding in the corner with the girl who went with you on Saturday evening.

I feel for her. I never go to these places at night but I already know that I’m one of the biggest chickens in the state of Wisconsin. Add listening to the story before getting out of the car and I’m saying ‘drop me at the nearest well-lit Starbucks!’

So, yes – go on a Haunt Spots tour. Do it up right. It’s about being a bit brave and being in it together. There’s nothing like it.

I’ll have a tall mocha latte, please with extra whipped cream.

Happy Haunts,

Susan

  1. Hey, that’s what you’re in the business of doing (providing scares, chills, and fun) so I’m tickled pink for you that it worked! I’m hoping you’ll expand to TN one day. (Or that I’ll finally get up to Wisconsin.) I’d take one of your tours! They sound GREAT!
