Among the jaunts I love to make are to movie theaters. Especially to see horror movies.
I like all kinds of horror movies. I’ll watch the gory ones like Saw and Hostel, and I enjoyed them, but I prefer my horror to be more subtle, more psychological. Maybe even with a hint of the whodunit, like the first Friday the 13th or Scream.
The last prize up for grabs is a $25 Fandango gift card. To enter, either use the entry form (below) OR use the comment form (also below) to tell me what kind of horror movies you prefer: gore or ghost.
This is one you’ll really wish you had been a newsletter subscriber for. I’m giving them exclusive info on how to enter more than once.
You have until 11:59 p.m. CST on Wednesday October 31, 2012 to enter.
I’ll do the drawing on Thursday November, 1, 2012.
Because Fandango is only good for purchasing tickets to U.S. theaters, this time around the contest is only open to U.S. residents.
Courtney Mroch is a globe-trotting restless spirit who’s both possessed by wanderlust and the spirit of adventure, and obsessed with true crime, horror, the paranormal, and weird days. Perhaps it has something to do with her genes? She is related to occult royalty, after all. Marie Laveau, the famous Voodoo practitioner of New Orleans, is one of her ancestors. (Yes, really! As explained here.) That could also explain her infatuation with skeletons.
Speaking of mystical, to learn how Courtney channeled her battle with cancer to conjure up this site, check out HJ’s Origin Story.
