The other day I got the following email (see below) about a casting call for a new ghost show someone is trying to put together. I don’t have anymore info than what follows. Not what cable network it might air on or what the show might be called, but if you’re interested in being on TV, here’s a new chance.

Courtney Mroch is a globe-trotting restless spirit who’s both possessed by wanderlust and the spirit of adventure, and obsessed with true crime, horror, the paranormal, and weird days. Perhaps it has something to do with her genes? She is related to occult royalty, after all. Marie Laveau, the famous Voodoo practitioner of New Orleans, is one of her ancestors. (Yes, really! As explained here.) That could also explain her infatuation with skeletons.
Speaking of mystical, to learn how Courtney channeled her battle with cancer to conjure up this site, check out HJ’s Origin Story.
I wouldn’t trust this one. It’s not a legit email account. We routinely get emails from A&E and their media production companies. All of the emails always come from the *person@mediacompany.com* If they don’t then they are likely a hoax trying to rip someone off somewhere. No legit company or agency uses personal email accounts for a project email blast.
Interesting Phil. I wrote them back to ask if I could post their email and they responded. They put a phone number too, but I wasn’t sure if that was just for me to call and ask Qs or what so I left it off. You are right though, even when Syfy and Travel Channel have contacted me through an outsourced social media or PR group, the email is usually not Gmail. Good catch. Might be best to be cautious about this one. Glad you noticed that and said something. I didn’t think anything about it.
