We are very pleased to announce we’ve added a new bio to our Writers page: Janice Tremeear. She’s going to be joining us here contributing some posts about her haunt jaunts and investigations.

Janice is the author of four books from History Press:

Missouri’s Haunted Route 66: Ghosts Along the Mother Road (Haunted America)

Haunted Ozarks (MO) (Haunted America)

Haunted Jefferson County: Ghosts of Missouri’s State Capital (Haunted America)

Wicked St. Louis (MO)

In addition to Haunt Jaunts, she’s also worked as a contributing author for Spooky Southcoast and Paranormal Phenomena Diaries.

Interested in all things paranormal from a young age, Janice is a certified Reiki Master in the Usui Skiki Ryoho lineage and uses her skills in energy work, mediumship, dowsing and intensive historical research on locations she and her team, ParaNatural Research Association investigates. She has investigated several locations throughout Missouri and the surrounding states and has worked with other teams as well as training people in establishing their own investigative teams.

Speaking of her team, ParaNatural Research Association observes and records accounts of paranormal activity with a focus on researching and preserving the history of haunted locations. They maintain a respect for all persons and property and approach their investigations with a humanistic touch, holding to the thought that if a person has passed, they should receive the same respect as one would give them while present in body. The core team members have several years of experience investigating locations throughout Missouri.

Welcome aboard, Janice! We’re very excited to have you join us and look forward to reading what haunts you’ll introduce us to.
