I received an interesting email last week. Another one from producers looking for first person accounts for a new TV show. But what caught my eye about this one was it’s right up my alley: haunted vacations!
I started Haunt Jaunts specifically because of encounters I had while on the road. The first was at the Shilo Inn and the second was at Harry’s. It was really that second one at Harry’s that started me searching for haunted places to go visit on weekends with my husband. He’s the one that named our outings Haunt Jaunts.
Anyway, I spoke with one of the producers by phone yesterday. I told her I’d spread the word to try and help them find more accounts of people being haunted while on vacation.
Here’s the details of what exactly they’re looking for and how to contact them if you want to share your story:

Courtney Mroch is a globe-trotting restless spirit who’s both possessed by wanderlust and the spirit of adventure, and obsessed with true crime, horror, the paranormal, and weird days. Perhaps it has something to do with her genes? She is related to occult royalty, after all. Marie Laveau, the famous Voodoo practitioner of New Orleans, is one of her ancestors. (Yes, really! As explained here.) That could also explain her infatuation with skeletons.
Speaking of mystical, to learn how Courtney channeled her battle with cancer to conjure up this site, check out HJ’s Origin Story.
