While updating our Recommended Ghost Tours page today, I decided to include ghost tours from our affiliate, Viator. I had intended only to add ones for the United States, because I guess I figured that’s all they’d have. To my delight, I found a bunch of haunted European tours too!
Well, this post’s title is misleading. Below are all the International tours I came across, not just European tours. In addition to Europe, there’s also ones for Australia and Canada too. (Not surprisingly they all had such tours. After all, they are three of the top five countries with the best paranormal tourism.)
Which haunted European tour would you want to take? (Me? All of them!)

Courtney Mroch is a globe-trotting restless spirit who’s both possessed by wanderlust and the spirit of adventure, and obsessed with true crime, horror, the paranormal, and weird days. Perhaps it has something to do with her genes? She is related to occult royalty, after all. Marie Laveau, the famous Voodoo practitioner of New Orleans, is one of her ancestors. (Yes, really! As explained here.) That could also explain her infatuation with skeletons.
Speaking of mystical, to learn how Courtney channeled her battle with cancer to conjure up this site, check out HJ’s Origin Story.
Not precisely a “ghost” tour but one of the best tours I’ve ever taken was the Jack the Ripper Tour by the Original London Walks. If you want spooky — and maybe the spirit of one of his victims is lurking — then seek it out.
Maybe not exactly a ghost tour but right up my Haunt Jaunting alley anyway, Lane! I think I remember you telling me about this tour before and how much you loved it. I will definitely take it when we go to London. When that will be, who knows, but I want to go someday and this tour would be something I’d like very much. Just another thing I’m pea green with envy that you’ve done. But I’m glad you tell me all your cool travel tales! Whets my appetite to go more places!
