This was supposed to be posted at a different time. Like way before now. Please disregard the 5 p.m. central spiel for getting details on how to enter Giveaway #2 for the AMC Gift Card. Obviously that’s already been done! Oh well, better late than never…
At any rate, I finally got the video uploaded. Here is how this post would’ve read if I’d been able to get all this done in a more timely fashion…
Hello dahlings. I, Lady Courtney, took a break from the party festivities at Maple Grove Manor to solve the case of Who Will Win the Nancy Drew game in the fiberdoodles-inspired Halloween Blog Party Giveaway #1.
Like I did for the pre-Halloween Party Giveaway, I taped the drawing so you could see that, yes, I really do put your entries in a drawing. Using my magic Halloween Hat, I then draw names and voilà! I pull out a winner!
Be sure to stop by fiberdoodles and check out what the other Halloween Blog Party participants are up to, and come back for more treat giveaways. We’ll be giving something away almost every day until Halloween!
And now, for the video drawing of the winner for Giveaway #1…
Courtney Mroch is a globe-trotting restless spirit who’s both possessed by wanderlust and the spirit of adventure, and obsessed with true crime, horror, the paranormal, and weird days. Perhaps it has something to do with her genes? She is related to occult royalty, after all. Marie Laveau, the famous Voodoo practitioner of New Orleans, is one of her ancestors. (Yes, really! As explained here.) That could also explain her infatuation with skeletons.
Speaking of mystical, to learn how Courtney channeled her battle with cancer to conjure up this site, check out HJ’s Origin Story.
Congrats to the lucky winner! I’m bummed I didn’t win tho 🙁
This is the cutest video I had to tweet about it!! You’re so funny Ms. Lady Courtney :):)
Aw Sharon, you just made my day! I’m sorry you didn’t win, but I sure do thank you for playing. Not to mention hosting your awesome Halloween Blog Party. It’s been a blast! You’ve really inspired me…the video’s were inspired by you for sure. I never would have done them otherwise. I’m glad you got such a kick out of them!
