To celebrate the release of Shadow People and Cursed Objects, we’re going to give away free copies to all newsletter subscribers. That’s right. FREE!
And since it’s available in both paperback and Kindle, it’ll be Subscriber’s Choice.
If you prefer Kindle, great. That’s what we’ll give you. Like the feeling of a paperback in your hand? Fine. Pick paperback and it’s yours.
All you have to do is be a newsletter subscriber. If you’re not already, click here to sign up.
Keep an eye on your inbox next week. We’ll be sending the newsletter sometime then.
Is there a catch?
Nope. We will really give you a free copy, either paperback or Kindle, of your choice.
However, we would appreciate reviews on Amazon, Goodreads, etc. Just one or the other would be sufficient. If you want to be ambitious and leave reviews on both and anywhere else you can think of? Fantastic!
Seriously, reviews are helpful. Not only to us to let us know how we did on this anthology, but it also helps your fellow readers. The ones who won’t have received a free copy and are deciding whether or not to spend their hard earned money on our book.
You don’t have to give us five stars. Of course, if that’s what you want to give, who are we to stand in your way?
The key is we’d like to create a little buzz, give people an idea of what they can expect, and the way we do that is with the help of readers leaving reviews. So if you’d like to help out, we sure would appreciate it.
And if you don’t? Fine. You get a free book that hopefully you’ll enjoy. It’s still a win-win for you.
So keep an eye on your inbox for our newsletter. It’ll be arriving sometime this week with the details of how to claim your free book. The following was edited on Monday February 22, 2016: It’ll be arriving Thursday February 25, 2016 with the details of how to claim your free book.
Courtney Mroch is a globe-trotting restless spirit who’s both possessed by wanderlust and the spirit of adventure, and obsessed with true crime, horror, the paranormal, and weird days. Perhaps it has something to do with her genes? She is related to occult royalty, after all. Marie Laveau, the famous Voodoo practitioner of New Orleans, is one of her ancestors. (Yes, really! As explained here.) That could also explain her infatuation with skeletons.
Speaking of mystical, to learn how Courtney channeled her battle with cancer to conjure up this site, check out HJ’s Origin Story.
So excited! Really, really, looking forward to this.
Hi Bast! You have said you’ve been looking forward to this WAY back from when I first started it all so…I’m tickled it’s finally going to be available for you to check out. Sure hoping you like it!
I downloaded the Amazon copy because I didn’t want to add to your expense by mailing me a paperback copy. I can’t wait to read it – it LOOKS great! Thank you! (I’m really excited about it!)
Got it! Now, I only need to find time to read it. :/
HA! Boy can I relate to that dilemma!
Oh Bast, you’re so thoughtful! I would’ve gladly mailed you a paperback version though. But I’m glad you were able to claim one even via Kindle. I so hope you enjoy it. Thank you again for your support!
