We had some great entries for the #MyHJSelfie Halloween Costume Contest. We had seven categories to choose winners for.

However, we goofed on our original post and listed “Most Original” twice. One of those should’ve been “Cutest.” Didn’t catch that until now.

Funniest Costume AND Most Spooktacular: Twins from the Shining

This entry came to us via Twitter. Congratulations to Daren Davey. I’d share the photo but he’s got a protected Twitter account so I can’t embed it. But it was a great one of two grown, bearded men dressed up as the twins from the Shining. You might be able to see it if you search #MyHJSelfie.

Courtney Mroch

Courtney Mroch is a globe-trotting restless spirit who’s both possessed by wanderlust and the spirit of adventure, and obsessed with true crime, horror, the paranormal, and weird days. Perhaps it has something to do with her genes? She is related to occult royalty, after all. Marie Laveau, the famous Voodoo practitioner of New Orleans, is one of her ancestors. (Yes, really! As explained here.) That could also explain her infatuation with skeletons.
