Halloween is coming, but maybe not fast enough for some. If you’re craving a taste of Halloween during Summer 2017, these four Halloween conventions can quench your thirst.

But beware. Check out how their points form a triangle.

Don’t be alarmed if you notice an uptick in Halloween activity in any of the cities hosting one of these fine conventions. (Or maybe even in any of the cities within the triangle. Halloween lovers will likely be passing through on their way to these Hallowcons.)

But if you do, now you’ll know why. It’s just the Halloween “Bermuda Triangle” effect at work.

What is a Hallowcon?

Halloween conventions are a hoot. If you love Halloween, you’ll find your tribe among these people.

Some offer tours of the Halloween haunted houses (both the actual real deal with actors and all, as well as lights on behind-the-scenes tours).

If you’re looking for costume or decoration ideas, you’ll find enough to make your imagination swim in delight –or terror.

There are workshops and panels of all varieties, offering everything from prop building tips and tricks to scare acting advice.

Most usually even have costume balls that allow you to don your scariest Halloween best. (In the middle of summer? Talk about trick or treat! YOW!)
