It’s always nice to be noticed, right? We were sure floored when we got an email over the weekend from Anuj Aragwal, the Founder of Feedspot, notifying us that we had been included among their list of the Top 50 Paranormal Blogs on the web.
Say what? Wow! Holy cow. Thank you!
But it got even better. They also included a badge (the one above) for us to display.
They couldn’t have made that any easier for us either. They included the code for us to easily copy & paste it into a widget to proudly display on our sidebar. Done!
Because we’re so honored to be included on this list. It’s not everyday someone wants to give us a badge. Of course we’re proud to display it!
However, the list is a little misleading because it’s not quite 50 paranormal blogs (only 43), but there we are smack in the middle at number 21. Super cool.
But the even better part was when we saw who else was on the list. That’s when we became even more flattered. It truly includes some of the best paranormal blogs out there, in some cases ones we’ve followed since our launch in 2009.
But don’t take our word for. Here’s who else made the list. (The ones in BOLD are blogs we’ve followed from our start and have become friends with over the years.)
- Week In Weird
- Phantoms and Monsters – Lon. Strickler. He’s amazing. Been our hero from the start. He’s always at the top of paranormal lists. For good reason. Go, Lon!

We miss chatting with her on a regular basis.

- Kings of Horror
- The Haunting of Michaeldmagee
- Ghost Hunts USA

Courtney Mroch is a globe-trotting restless spirit who’s both possessed by wanderlust and the spirit of adventure, and obsessed with true crime, horror, the paranormal, and weird days. Perhaps it has something to do with her genes? She is related to occult royalty, after all. Marie Laveau, the famous Voodoo practitioner of New Orleans, is one of her ancestors. (Yes, really! As explained here.) That could also explain her infatuation with skeletons.
Speaking of mystical, to learn how Courtney channeled her battle with cancer to conjure up this site, check out HJ’s Origin Story.
