Oh crud. I just realized as I sat down to upload the video of the drawing for the fiberdoodles-inspired Halloween Blog Party Giveaway of the Haunted Hikes of New Hampshire book that I forgot to do something very important.
I forgot in the video (videos actually, as I didn’t do it for the Haunted Cemeteries book either) to thank our special guest sponsor, PublishingWorks. I only had these books to giveaway because of them! They generously donated both copies. Dang it!
Carol at PublishingWorks, thank you so much again. It was very exciting to receive these books, and VERY wonderful of you to entrust them with me in my giveaway like this. I won’t say in writing here who won, but Haunted Hikes is going to a very good home where it’s very much wanted! Thanks for making them a happy winner!
Courtney Mroch is a globe-trotting restless spirit who’s both possessed by wanderlust and the spirit of adventure, and obsessed with true crime, horror, the paranormal, and weird days. Perhaps it has something to do with her genes? She is related to occult royalty, after all. Marie Laveau, the famous Voodoo practitioner of New Orleans, is one of her ancestors. (Yes, really! As explained here.) That could also explain her infatuation with skeletons.
Speaking of mystical, to learn how Courtney channeled her battle with cancer to conjure up this site, check out HJ’s Origin Story.
Oh my goodness… you are too cute and funny. Thank you for the chance, I can’t wait to read the book.
You are kind to use the word “funny.” (And generous to say I’m cute. THANKS!) I am nuts, I know, but…thanks for humoring me anyway!!!! Congrats again!
