I like to give people the heads up if I know in advance I won’t be posting for more than a few days. That way you won’t wonder if I’ve abandoned the blog permanently or not.
This weekend my husband and I will be helping his grandparents celebrate their 70th wedding anniversary. (Yes, you read that right. It’s no typo. SEVENTY years. God bless them!)
Anyway, I’ve been busy this week getting stuff coordinated for that, in addition to actually getting my duckus in gear and adding Jaunts to HauntJaunts.net.
Next week I’ll return ready and raring to go. The big countdown is on to Sept. 1, a.ka. the official launch of HauntJaunts.net. I’ll be getting the articles prepped for posting, as well as posting an interview with Pamela K. Kinney on the blog. (Some of you may know that name. She’s written a couple of ghost books.)
Anyway, I hope you all enjoy your weekend. I’ll catch you on the flip flop!
Courtney Mroch is a globe-trotting restless spirit who’s both possessed by wanderlust and the spirit of adventure, and obsessed with true crime, horror, the paranormal, and weird days. Perhaps it has something to do with her genes? She is related to occult royalty, after all. Marie Laveau, the famous Voodoo practitioner of New Orleans, is one of her ancestors. (Yes, really! As explained here.) That could also explain her infatuation with skeletons.
Speaking of mystical, to learn how Courtney channeled her battle with cancer to conjure up this site, check out HJ’s Origin Story.
