Getting to Know Payten

Payten is the creator of the website, Lestat Horror, which she started in 2010.

She hails from the U.K.

But she sums herself up more brilliantly than I could, so let me share this from Lestat Horror’s About page:

Payten started out as a horror reviewer for the Kensington Gore website (Under the name Holly Gore-Deadly. This helped her meet many Directors, Producers and Writers. She credits one actress and producer – Maria olsen- for giving her the break in the horror industry.

Payten is fully active in horror circles, where she is now an Author, Reviewer , Writer  for magazines  and, after studying with Raindance film company, she is also a screenwriter. Her IMDB credits include Insanity (horror short).

She is a member  of the London Horror Society and the ASSAP.

Payten’s Also a Haunt Jaunter

Her bio is impressive but here’s how she introduced herself to me by way of email:

I am a Horror Writer/Reviewer and Screenwriter and I am also a paranormal investigator. I have had experience in the paranormal for 26 years now. I reside in England and I love nothing more than touring haunted locations.

With the Horror side not only do I write my own but I also get sent screeners to review new indie horror films coming out. I have also interviewed a few indie actors.

Her horror writing and paranormal background piqued my interest, but she had me at “I love nothing more than touring haunted locations.”
