I am late making this announcement, and you may have already seen two of Dusty’s posts (“The Candy Lady” and “Jure Grando: The Legend Of The First European Vampire“), but I am finally officially welcoming him to the Skeleton Crew.
Sadly I didn’t do this earlier like I told Dusty I would. He came aboard the same time I was taking vacation.
I had it written to welcome him on my To Do list when I got back, but if you saw my “list” you’d understand. It’s not a neat, organized list like I imagine others keep. It’s a lot of lists written all over the place on whatever I have handy at the moment.
So, consequently, things often don’t get done until it somehow comes to my attention again or I rediscover the list. The latter is what happened in this case.
Here’s what we know about Dusty
Dusty Davis is a horror writer living in East Liverpool, Ohio.
When he is not frightening his readers, he can be found at home hanging out with his wife and two children.
Readers can follow Dusty at facebook.com/dustydavis21 or @dustydavis21 on Instagram and Twitter. Most of his work can be found at www.amazon.com/author/dustydavis.
Dusty is prolific and entertaining so I’m hoping my lack of follow through didn’t scare him away and he’s still willing to contribute from time to time. What he submitted so far was very well received.
Welcome to the Skeleton Crew, Dusty! Officially! Apologies again for the delay!
Courtney Mroch is a globe-trotting restless spirit who’s both possessed by wanderlust and the spirit of adventure, and obsessed with true crime, horror, the paranormal, and weird days. Perhaps it has something to do with her genes? She is related to occult royalty, after all. Marie Laveau, the famous Voodoo practitioner of New Orleans, is one of her ancestors. (Yes, really! As explained here.) That could also explain her infatuation with skeletons.
Speaking of mystical, to learn how Courtney channeled her battle with cancer to conjure up this site, check out HJ’s Origin Story.
