Freeform creating Hocus Pocus-inspired haunted house for Halloween – Entertainment Weekly

To celebrate the network’s 31 Nights of Halloween programming event, Freeform is creating its own haunted house. Halloween-loving members of the public are invited to visit Hollywood’s historic Lombardi House which will be transformed into a spookily immersive experience, decked out to celebrate the 25th anniversaries of both Hocus Pocus and Tim Burton’s The Nightmare Before Christmas. The bound-to-be creaky doors will be open from Oct. 4 through Oct. 9.

Ghost Hunter Busted for Strange Submarine Heist – Coast to Coast AM

A Connecticut psychologist who moonlights as a ghost hunter has found herself in hot water with authorities following what they say was an audacious heist from a historic submarine. Laura Palmese was reportedly arrested earlier this week for breaking into the USS Ling, which is moored at the New Jersey Naval Museum, and stealing items from the ship. Police say that Palmese and an accomplice actually jumped into the Hackensack River and swam to the submarine in order to gain access to the vessel.
