This post is shamefully overdue. Back in July a man named Thomas Miller used the Contact Us page to reach out about a podcast he hosts called You Had Me at Bigfoot. (All their info will be shared at the end of the post.)
Anyway, here’s what he wrote:
It is a podcast about the paranormal (ghosts, aliens, cryptids, etc), but we talk about it in a funny way. At the end of the episode, we rate the story or interviewee on a scale of 1 to 5 Bigfoots based on how true we believe it to be.
As I was looking for ways to get the show out there, I decided a great way to do it was to partner with other paranormal experts on the internet and propose a mutually beneficial way of spreading the word. This is how I found you. I was hoping to strike up a conversation and discuss the possibility of providing a link to our episodes (via mixcloud, iTunes, Google Play, etc.) for you to place on your website, and in return, we will do a pseudo commercial or mention your website on our show.
I’m all for partnerships, but he had me at “Bigfoot” and funny.
Speaking of funny…did you notice the part where he alluded to me being among the “paranormal experts on the internet?” That was either him being smooth or hilarious. I found it both flattering and amusing so how could I pass up reaching back out to him?
Which I did. We’d just gotten back from vacation, and I had every intention of mentioning him sooner than this, but…well. Life whacked me upside the head with some unexpected hiccups that sucked up all my time.
Because back then I was still creating Haunted Headlines videos. I was hoping to work in a mention of their podcast in one of the videos.
That never transpired. However, I could still write a post.
Which I’m finally getting around to now.
You Had Me At…
I went to their website to check out their episodes, which all start with the title “You Had Me at.”
As of this writing, they have 20 episodes up on topics like:
- You Had Me at Summoning Demons (ep 20)
- You Had Me at Cults (ep 18)
- You Had Me at Cursed Objects (ep 15)
- You Had Me at Sexsquatch (ep 11)
The Hosts
Their website’s About the Team section introduces the hosts of the You Had Me at Bigfoot podcast. Their titles crack me up, and give you a good idea of their sense of humor.
It kicks off with Tom Miller, Host/Editor/Soul Harvester. Next up is Dustin “D Minus/D Cup” Clark, Host/Writer/17th Century Plague Doctor. Rounding out the trio is Jim “Jamus” Miller, Musical Director/Disputed Heavyweight Champion of the Tri-County.
As any good podcast with multiple hosts should, these guys have great chemistry. Also, they’re having a lot of fun while discussing serious topics about the paranormal.
The Episodes
Shows vary in length, depending on whether they have a guest joining them or not and how much they have to discuss. They range from a little over 30 minutes to almost two hours.
Whether you like ghosts, aliens, cryptids, or even things like magic, they talk about anything within the paranormal realm.
If you’re looking for a new podcast and haven’t tried them yet, check them out. Then let me know what you think!
Better yet, let them know. You can reach out to them via their Contact page on their site or connect with them via one of their social media channels. Be sure to let them know Court from Haunt Jaunts sent you.

Courtney Mroch is a globe-trotting restless spirit who’s both possessed by wanderlust and the spirit of adventure, and obsessed with true crime, horror, the paranormal, and weird days. Perhaps it has something to do with her genes? She is related to occult royalty, after all. Marie Laveau, the famous Voodoo practitioner of New Orleans, is one of her ancestors. (Yes, really! As explained here.) That could also explain her infatuation with skeletons.
Speaking of mystical, to learn how Courtney channeled her battle with cancer to conjure up this site, check out HJ’s Origin Story.
