A PR rep for Travel Channel’s Kindred Spirits reached out asking if I’d be interested in participating in a phone interview with the show’s stars, Amy Bruni and Adam Berry, to hear about the new season. That was an easy yes.

The Series

Travel Channel’s hit series, Kindred Spirits, returns for its third season on Thursday, January 24 at 10pm ET/PT. In case you’ve never watched, Amy and Adam enter America’s darkest locations demanding answers to the most chilling, haunted mysteries.

Season three will contain 10 one-hour episodes. Amy and Adam’s ultimate goal is to determine who or what haunts the spaces they’re investigating –and whether it’s safe for the living to remain.

Their multi-layered investigations dig into the past in order to identify the dead and analyze the threat. With an arsenal of paranormal tools and their hands-on investigation style, the duo brings peace to those tormented by restless spirits by giving a voice to the dead.

The First Episode

In the season premiere, Amy Bruni and Adam Berry are called to Liberty, Missouri, to investigate the Odd Fellows Home, a massive compound that once cared for orphans and the elderly. More than 10,000 people died on the property.

Has the pain experienced there fostered a malevolent entity? That’s what Amy and Adam will find out.

The Interview

I’m not sure if I’ll get a chance to ask them a question. I did a few years ago when I was on a similar call with Josh Gates when he was promoting a new season of Expedition Unknown.

If this call is like that one, they’ll give a general overview about what people can expect from the show. Then they’ll open it up to questions. Which is cool, because you never know who might ask what.

But what should I ask? Luckily I have some time before the call to think on it. (The call’s scheduled for January 21, 2019.)

Ideas?

That’s why I’m writing this post. I thought it might be fun to get some ideas. Because I learned something interesting when I posted the save-the-date post announcing Kindred Spirits‘ season three return: several of you love this show.

My posts don’t always generate a lot of comments. That one did.

So, if you feel so obliged, help a sister out, will ya? What would you ask Amy and Adam about their new season, their show, etc.? If I get to ask it, I’ll be sure to say it’s from my fellow haunt jaunters, for my fellow haunt jaunters.

And I’ll of course post their answers so you know –as well as any other info I glean from the call.

Thanks!

  1. We’ve got a couple!

  2. I’m sorry for the oops, Court! I had major dental surgery and am out of it.

    So:

From my daughter: 1. Is there anything they would like to do that they can’t because of the network, etc?

From me: Has there been a case that truly scared them?

    and

Have they ever considered writing a book about their experiences?

  3. What other projects have you been working on when not filming “Kindred Spirits?” Do you maintain your friendship with each other outside of the show?
