I was goofing off with my iPod Touch the other day and somehow stumbled across the Wicked Walks ghost tour apps. I can’t remember which one I found first, but whichever one it was it prompted me to search to see if I could find anymore.

I did. Three more in fact, for a total of four. So now I have the following on my iPod:

  1. Wicked Walks New Orleans
  2. Wicked Walks Atlanta
  3. Wicked Walks Savannah
  4. Wicked Walks Key West

I haven’t had a chance to test them out yet. (I had meant to over the weekend but my husband threw me a surprise birthday party. My birthday was September 14. That’s part of why we took the big trip that we took, to celebrate. Little did I know that was just the beginning of what’s turned into a month long celebration –complete with out of town friends and all!)

At any rate, in theory the ghost tour apps sound marvelous.

  • They let you take a ghost tour when you want (whether that’s at 3:30 a.m. or 2 p.m.).
  • They let you take them where you want (whether that’s during your lunch break at work, at home before you go to sleep, or while you’re waiting in line and want to kill time somewhere).
  • They let you tour the haunts of cities you may be interested in jaunting to but haven’t made it to yet.
  • You can use them to guide you when you are in the particular cities.
  • They save you a substantial amount of money over regular tours. (I paid $3.99 per tour.)

I’ll be testing these apps shortly and writing a review about what I think. I hope they’re as neat as they appear to be. If they are, I’ll look even more forward to the other three cities they’ll be releasing soon, which are:

  1. Nashville
  2. New York City
  3. Charleston

  1. Sounds cool. It’s too bad I don’t have the iPhone, iTouch, or iPad. I have an ipod nano and love the little rascal. I have tons of music on it along with two movies.

COOL! Wayne’s Nano lasted all of a nanosecond before he busted it! Too small for him. I kind of wanted one, but never did get one. So neat you can even have movies on it!
