I about had myself throwing up earlier knowing that my big interview on Better Nashville was airing today. I don’t know why. I should’ve probably had that reaction when I taped it, right?
But all week I’ve thought about what I should’ve said, or why didn’t I answer questions a certain way… Basically, I tortured myself.
Oh, and it didn’t help when I saw Jennifer Herron, the reporter who interviewed me, on TV the next morning after my interview. Not that she looked fat. Hardly. She still looked tiny, but she looked bigger than she had in real life. (She’s just a little thing!)
So I groaned and told Wayne, “I’m going to look like a freaking hippopotamus!”
I do. But you know what? It’s okay. Why? Because the way they pieced the interview together turned out AWESOME! (I’d been fretting about what I had said, what I didn’t say, what I should’ve said, etc. Did I already mention that?)
They even posted images from HauntJaunts.net and included a picture of Harry’s when I told about my encounter there. It really turned out to be a slick interview! And what a way to raise awareness for both lymphoma and the Lymphoma Research Foundation. WOOT! I’m so thankful Better Nashville took the time to do a segment like this!

Courtney Mroch is a globe-trotting restless spirit who’s both possessed by wanderlust and the spirit of adventure, and obsessed with true crime, horror, the paranormal, and weird days. Perhaps it has something to do with her genes? She is related to occult royalty, after all. Marie Laveau, the famous Voodoo practitioner of New Orleans, is one of her ancestors. (Yes, really! As explained here.) That could also explain her infatuation with skeletons.
Speaking of mystical, to learn how Courtney channeled her battle with cancer to conjure up this site, check out HJ’s Origin Story.
