I am notorious for being days, if not weeks, behind in making comments on all the blogs I follow. With my other biz picking up like it has and summer here with all the activities that brings, that means my time crunch is only going to get worse. (From now until Christmas things will stay chaotic.) That also means I’ll only fall farther behind on my blog reading.
I’ve been commenting here and there when I can, but it’s not like it used to be. And I’ve felt bad about that, so I wanted to make a formal apology to the other great blogs I follow, such as:
- A Haunting We Will Go (Actually, Patty’s been pretty quiet lately. Lucky for me!)
- Above the Norm
- Frog on a Pumpkin
- Ghost Eyes
- Ghost Hunting Theories (been so long since I been there didn’t know Sharon had a groovy new color scheme. Nice!)
- Ghost Lounge
- Ghost Stories
- Ghost Stories and Haunted Places (Jessica’s I’ve been good about the last two days but I hate missing out on her blog because she always shares great stories about great haunted places!)
- GhostTheory (Javier always shares interesting articles. His blog alone I could spend half my day on!)
- Haunted Britain (He doesn’t post that often, but when he does it’s interesting. All about the places he’s researching for his next book about haunted places in England, Scotland and Wales.)
- Heart Centered Psychic
- Learn Psychic Powers
- Paranormal People
- ParanormalPopCulture.com
- The Ghost Hunting Parablog
- The Play of Light and Shadows
- Weekly Spectre
- The Zombie Review
Yes, there are more in my blogroll, but the above are the ones stashed in my email’s RSS feed. (And that’s just for this blog. It’s easily double, if not triple, for all the blog endeavors I’m involved in.)
At any rate, when it comes to Haunt Jaunts I’ve developed a special affinity for many of the people responsible for the above blogs. I appreciate when they take the time to comment on my posts. That’s why I feel especially bad when I fall behind on reading theirs.
I’ll keep sharing their links like I do and I’ll try to comment as I can, but if it continues to be sporadic I at least feel better that I’ve not let everyone know why.
Courtney Mroch is a globe-trotting restless spirit who’s both possessed by wanderlust and the spirit of adventure, and obsessed with true crime, horror, the paranormal, and weird days. Perhaps it has something to do with her genes? She is related to occult royalty, after all. Marie Laveau, the famous Voodoo practitioner of New Orleans, is one of her ancestors. (Yes, really! As explained here.) That could also explain her infatuation with skeletons.
Speaking of mystical, to learn how Courtney channeled her battle with cancer to conjure up this site, check out HJ’s Origin Story.
Not to worry. Don’t want you to feel bad. I am SO BAD about leaving comments. I read the posts then mean to comment, but the baby screams cause the toddler is touching her, or the toddler screams cause the baby is touching him and chaos distracts me. LOL
Hoping to be better abt it in the future, but I have a feeling chaos will win yet again 🙂

Courtney, don’t worry about not commenting, I know you are still there. We all have so much stuff going on and can’t always just sit down and read all our friends blogs. There are many times I will read them, but not leave a comment. Most of the time something will come up and I will have to shut the computer down and get to it. Also, I don’t get many comments on some posts but my sitemeter tells me that people are coming to my blog and reading what I wrote. So, don’t worry, I will still follow your blog and whatever you have to say on Twitter. Take care of business and we will see you around in the cyber world.
Court;
You don’t need to explain to us. I think all the bloggers know that real life gets in the way of Internet life a lot. We all have cycles and responsibilities and new endeavors. The really wickedly awesome thing about blogging is that people realize your potential and that gives you confidence to take on new tasks and you go forth, but sometimes it means time away. I love to see what all you’re doing with your life at this time and I’m so proud of you. I know you’d like to be everywhere at once, but girl it’s not possible. 🙂 Love ya for trying!
It’s OK. Everry blogger has a life outside of the blogosphere that they sometimes have to tend to. I just hope you continue to have such success with your business! It is wonderful to hear a success story.
You girls are simply, without a doubt THE BEST! I just felt I needed to say something because I feel really, really bad when I don’t comment and get so far behind. And as much as I’d like it to get better, I know it’s not gonna any time soon.
I’ll still try to comment, but just in case I don’t…at least I know you all understand. You have the same issues. a.k.a. LIFE!
Thanks for being so wonderful!
I’m kind of a hit-and-miss commenter too. So, no apologies necessary. Just keep doing what you do best!
“Hit-and-miss commenter” LOVE that, Andrea!
