About Kate Lang Johnson From NBC’s “Persons Unknown”

I wrote about “Persons Unknown” a couple weeks back and what twisted fun it looked like. Julie over at Above the Norm has also been intrigued by the previews. (As have many others. She’s the only other one I knew who wrote about it though.)

Kate Lang Johnson is one of the actors set to star in “Persons Unknown.” I was sent some info about her and thought it’d be fun to share. (Especially because if, like me, you know you’ve seen her somewhere else before but couldn’t put your finger on it, this might help clear that up.)

Quintessential California beauty KATE LANG JOHNSON is swiftly emerging as one of Hollywood’s most sought after young talents. Johnson stars in PERSONS UNKNOWN which will premiere June 7th on NBC and is poised to be the HIT series of the summer. Johnson plays Tori, a fun-loving (and reckless) party girl who finds herself suddenly held captive in a small horrifyingly isolated ghost town with a group of strangers under the watchful eye of an unknown source.

With acting skill at her core and a passion for the performing arts, Johnson has transitioned from not-so-humble beginnings in the modeling world (she’s been featured in campaigns for Sketchers, Levi’s, Abercrombie & Fitch, and DKNY to name a few) to a successful career in film and television.

Johnson recently starred in the high-spirited cheerleader flick FIRED UP opposite Eric Christian Olsen, Sarah Roemer and Molly Sims.

Johnson also starred in the horror cult classic film BEHIND THE MASK: THE RISE OF LESLIE VERNON. On the small screen, Johnson has guest starred on UGLY BETTY, ER, CSI: MIAMI, MALCOLM IN THE MIDDLE, and BOSTON PUBLIC.

Johnson also maintains an appetite for travel and adventure. She has spent time in China, Germany, Spain, Canada, Mexico, Italy, France, and South America. When she’s not gallivanting around the world, Johnson resides in Los Angeles and loves throwing dinner parties (her eggplant parmesan is incredible).

Starts tomorrow!

  1. There was a couple of shows that I probably saw her on. She did look familar. The show starts tomorrow and I am sure they will be buzzing about it on Twitter. Here’s hoping it is one to get addicted to.

  2. It sounds like it is going to be similar to the original Prisoner.

  3. I’m hoping it’ll be “one to get addicted to” also, Julie. Great way to put that!

AH! Prisoner! THANK YOU, Jessica. YES, that’s also what it reminds me of but I could not come up with that and it was driving me crazy. THANK YOU!
