I forgot to draw the winner of Wendy Webb’s The Tale of Halcyon Crane yesterday. Please accept my apologies!
We had six entrants. I gave them each a number based on the order in which they left their comment. Then I used one of my favorite free online toys, Random.org’s True Random Number Generator, to “draw” the winner.
This time I’ll go ahead and tell you who won: Janessa!
The video just serves as proof I really did do a drawing and didn’t play favorites.(Tempted as I sometimes am to do…)
Thanks again to all those who entered!
Courtney Mroch is a globe-trotting restless spirit who’s both possessed by wanderlust and the spirit of adventure, and obsessed with true crime, horror, the paranormal, and weird days. Perhaps it has something to do with her genes? She is related to occult royalty, after all. Marie Laveau, the famous Voodoo practitioner of New Orleans, is one of her ancestors. (Yes, really! As explained here.) That could also explain her infatuation with skeletons.
Speaking of mystical, to learn how Courtney channeled her battle with cancer to conjure up this site, check out HJ’s Origin Story.
Brava Janessa.
This video is hysterical.
Where on this “haunted” earth did you find a random number generator? LOL
Gee, and this time I wasn’t even trying to be funny. Go figure. When I try I blow it, when I don’t I am…guess I better stop trying! LOL!
And I don’t remember how I found the random number generator. I think I saw or heard about it on someone else’s blog and Googled it.
I’m half way through,,, You are going to love this prize, Janessa.
I got it in the mail today! I can’t wait to start it….I’m halfway through the book I’m reading now and then I’m moving it to the top of the list. 🙂 Thanks again! Oh and Courtney? I love your stationary! So cute!
Thanks, Janessa! My cousin runs a stationery store and I help her out with her social media. She sent me that as thanks. I was happy I had an excuse to use it! 😉
Thanks too for letting me know the book arrived a-okay. I hope you’ll enjoy it as much as I did!
