Thanks to Twitter I learned that the Travel Channel’s monthly giveaway features a jaunt to a place near and dear to Zak Bagans and the gang’s hearts: their hometown of Vegas, baby!
Each month the Travel Channel gives away trips. This month it’s a “Win a Trip for 2 to NYC and Las Vegas.”
Bert the Conqueror takes on thrill rides across America, and you can, too. Our winners will fly round-trip to NYC and Las Vegas to visit our nation’s iconic amusement parks. First stop is world-famous Coney Island, then it’s off to Vegas for high-altitude fun at the Stratosphere. Enter now for your chance to win.
Okay, so really it’s more a giveaway about amusement parks and roller coasters than paranormal activity, but some roller coasters are much more thrilling than some paranormal investigations. (And you investigators out there know exactly what I’m talking about!)
I happen to love roller coasters. In fact, that’s how I spent my 4th of July Weekend. Riding all the coasters at Six Flags St. Louis. I wouldn’t mind winning this trip.
What about you?
Courtney Mroch is a globe-trotting restless spirit who’s both possessed by wanderlust and the spirit of adventure, and obsessed with true crime, horror, the paranormal, and weird days. Perhaps it has something to do with her genes? She is related to occult royalty, after all. Marie Laveau, the famous Voodoo practitioner of New Orleans, is one of her ancestors. (Yes, really! As explained here.) That could also explain her infatuation with skeletons.
Speaking of mystical, to learn how Courtney channeled her battle with cancer to conjure up this site, check out HJ’s Origin Story.
I would definitely love to win those trips. It would be great if they would offer up a chance to ghost hunt with the GA boys too. I would be up for that!
Roller Coasters make my tummy hurt. But it seems like a neat give away either way.
Agreed, Julie! They often offer hunts with them…but it costs to do them. (And it ain’t cheap. Or at least not to a tight wad like myself! 😉
Jessica: I can sympathize! My tummy does okay on coasters of all things but I don’t like the rattling motion of the old wooden ones I’ve decided after this last trip. Give me the twisting and turning upside down steel ones…of all things!
Oh, I still love the coasters, Brenda…tho I didn’t write the most succinct comment in response to Jessica. I don’t like getting banged & jerked all around on the wooden ones so much anymore. But I adore the ones that flip and twist and go upside down…But I ride them all. I do have to take breaks between the wooden ones though. Can’t ride them over and over again like I once could…
