If you’ve been reading Haunt Jaunts for a while, you may recall a site I used to love called Screamstress. I liked it so much I named it as one of HJ’s Best of 2009 winners as well as one of 20 Spots to Watch for Paranormal Activity in 2010.

Well, little did I know Screamstress wasn’t going to stick around for all of 2010. But my favorite blogger from that site, Alison Nastasi, luckily found another blogging gig on an equally awesome all-things-horror-entertainment site called Horror Squad.

They cover all the latest horror happenings in movies, books, events, etc. There’s a lot of wicked (as in wicked cool) articles being posted on this site. Here’s a sampling of a few of them:

  1. Today’s post by Peter Hall,  “Get to Know All the Ways a Predator Can Kill You”
  2. “What We’re Watching: Blood Creek, Cabin Fever, Pscyho III” by Brian Salisbury
  3. “Blog Spotlight: Kindertrauma” by Brad McHargue
  4. “First Trailer for the Shrine is Now Online” by Mike Bracken
  5. “Make Your Next Vacation Spooky With the Help of Haunt Jaunts” by Alison Nastasi

That’s right, among the cool articles I like is one about my very own blog!

Talk about being flattered when I saw one of Alison’s Tweets, clicked on her link and was shocked to see my favorite horror blogger had written about Haunt Jaunts! Didn’t know she had that trick up her sleeve!

If you get a chance, swing by and check out any of the above articles, or some of these awesome ones written by Alison:

  1. No, ‘Vampire Mob’ isn’t Something You’ll Need to Block on Facebook
  2. Musée Macabre: Art from Human Ashes
  3. ZombieFit: Fitness for the Apocalypse
  4. Musée Macabre: Joshua Hoffine Looks Through the Keyhole

Aw shucks! You have no idea how flattering this is Alison. I regard you as a blogging rock star so this is like having Mick Jagger take notice of some little nightclub rock band. THANK YOU!
