Fall Forest Leaves October Days

Spooky types generally associate October with the scariest day of the year –Halloween. (Or am I just speaking for myself?) And a mainstream campaign that gets lots of attention each October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month.

But there’s many monthly, weekly and daily celebrations happening in October. (Besides the weird, unusual and macabre ones I have listed. To see places that list all types of days, check out the Sources I pulled from for my more specific weird days listing.)

In fact, October is one of the “busiest” months on the Weird Holidays & Observances page. (“Busiest” meaning it has some of the most, if not the most, listings.) As far as weird, unusual and macabre days go? October rocks the bizarre!

Magic, meditation, killer dolls, haunted refrigerators…even Willy Wonka! So many odd things being celebrated, appreciated or to be aware of.

You can find them under the October listing on the Weird Holidays & Observances page.

Or just scroll down. I copy and pasted and put the whole month’s happenings here.

P.S.

If you are a spooky loving type like myself, be sure to check out October 30 and 31. You may be familiar with the 30th being Mischief Night (also known as Devil’s Night), but there are some other seasonal observations that day. Same with October 31.
