World's Biggest Ghost Hunt and Ghost Hunters collage

A&E is getting into the Halloween spirit with a full night of paranormal programming on October 30! It’s the premier of World’s Biggest Ghost Hunt: Pennhurst Asylum and the season finale of Ghost Hunters.

First, at 8pm ET/PT, A&E embarks on the longest continuously filmed paranormal investigation in television history with World’s Biggest Ghost Hunt: Pennhurst Asylum.

Paranormal investigators Ali Horrick, Katie Burr, Zak Heino, Max Baumle and Austin George were given unprecedented access to investigate one of the most haunted places in the U.S. They spent two weeks eating, sleeping, and working in Pennhurst.

I had a chance to chat with Max and Zak about their investigation and the show. You can listen to it on the podcast. I’m really intrigued to see what they found, what they debunked, and if they show any evidence of all the Red Bull Max said they consumed. (Pallets full, according to him.)

Here’s a small clip:

Second, at 10pm ET/PT, there’s the highly anticipated season one finale of Ghost Hunters. (Holy cow the finale already? Doesn’t it seem like it just started?)

The team –Grant Wilson, Daryl Marston, Kristen Luman, Brandon Alvis, Mustafa Gatollari, Brian Murray and Richel Stratton – capture compelling evidence of a figure lurking inside an abandon 19th century hospital in Texas.

Here’s a clip of that:
