Haunted Valentine’s Weekend 2020: Where to Find 14 Romantic Ghost Hunts and Ghost Tours

Is it me, or are there more ghost hunts and ghost tours this Valentine’s Day than in years past? Could be me. Or it could be because Valentine’s Day coincides with a weekend this year and haunted places and tours are taking advantage.

Whatever it is, I noticed there are 14 of them (at least) this February.

Technically there are more. I fudged the headline a bit because 14 is the perfect number, right? (Seeing as how Valentine’s Day is February 14th and all.)

You’ll see there are actually 16 on this list. Technically there are 17 ghost tour and ghost hunting events happening either on Valentine’s Day or during the weekend. (That I know of. To see the ones I’ve got listed, jaunt on over to the Ghost Tour and Ghost Hunting Events page.)

However, one overnight ghost hunt was sold out. (The Valentine’s Day Ghost Hunt & Overnight Stay at the Hotel Conneaut.) That’s why I didn’t include it here.

And three don’t specifically allude to Valentine’s weekend. (The Haunted Souls Ghost Tour at the Historic Latta Plantation in Huntersville, South Carolina; the Free RHA TShirt & Hunt at Rolling Hills Asylum in Bethany, New York; and the Haunted Princess Street Ghost Hunt with York Ghost Tours in York, Pennsylvania.)

So really there are 13 Valentine-specific events, but that number is more suitable to Friday the 13th. Which, if I’ve updated the Weird Holidays & Observances page correctly, there are two of in 2020: one in March and the other in November. Both will likely have haunted events happening then too. If I’m on my game, I’ll create a post similar to this to highlight them too.
