Today’s “Get a load of this while I’m on vacation” post came courtesy to me via one of HJ’s newest Halloween Blog Party guests, Merricat from Blackwood.
She left a comment on my post “The Real Housewives on Ghost Hunters?”about a group of ladies known as the Paranormal Housewives.
Apparently they were featured on Travel Channel’s “Ghost Stories” June 17 episode. I missed that sadly, but I’m hoping to catch it in reruns.
Merricat spoke highly of them. What I can tell from their blog posts and investigation write-ups is that they’re my kind of ladies!
Have fun getting to know the Paranormal Housewives.
P.S.
If anyone finds out if they’re on Twitter or have a Facebook page, will you leave me a comment with their link or profile name? Thanks!
I’d like to stalk –er, I mean follow— them wherever else I can find them, but I didn’t have time to search them out before I left.
Courtney Mroch is a globe-trotting restless spirit who’s both possessed by wanderlust and the spirit of adventure, and obsessed with true crime, horror, the paranormal, and weird days. Perhaps it has something to do with her genes? She is related to occult royalty, after all. Marie Laveau, the famous Voodoo practitioner of New Orleans, is one of her ancestors. (Yes, really! As explained here.) That could also explain her infatuation with skeletons.
Speaking of mystical, to learn how Courtney channeled her battle with cancer to conjure up this site, check out HJ’s Origin Story.
Glad you enjoyed the site so much – the writing and information is excellent. You can find the PHW on Facebook:
