The producers at Bright Rectangle Films heard about the Paranormal Day Paracon and wondered if films could participate too, because they have a new movie out, The Hill and the Hole. In fact, it was scheduled to appear in several film fests, but just like paracons (and all other facets of normal life), those got canceled or postponed because of coronavirus too.

They were curious if maybe we could screen The Hill and the Hole during the paracon.

I wasn’t quite sure how we could work that into the mix. Then again, I wasn’t quite sure how an online paracon was going to work anyway. If they were open to working with me and going with the flow, I was open to working with them.

I was also concerned that screening sometime during the paracon at a set time might not get them a lot of eyeballs. (And if you’ve watched my Haunted Headlines videos, you know I appreciate eyeballs so I know others who make visual things will too.)

I asked if they could maybe make it available for the whole weekend or maybe the night before.

They ended up making it available until Tuesday!

That’s right, all con-goers (and anyone who reads this post or follows the event on Facebook) can watch The Hill and the Hole for free.

But first, to see if you’ll be interested, I’ll do what they did and share the trailer first.

If that piques your interest, here’s how to watch the whole movie free:

  1. Click this link https://vimeo.com/406387205
  2. Use this password: digby

If there’s a way to thank them, be sure to do that.

And be sure to stop back by and let me know your thoughts. They say it’s a “slow burn.” I personally love movies like that, so I’m excited to see it!

HI Debra! I only had time to watch part so I’ll have to rent it when it’s out. The con took up too much time and then I had power issues. LOL You’ll have to tell me if you like it if you get a chance to see it.
