Among the theme days happening on Twitter on Tuesdays is Travel Tuesdays. As part of my “I’m on vacation, check this out in my absence” mission, I thought it be great to steer you to some of my favorite travel blogs and haunted places sites.

I’ve listed them below in alphabetical order.

Above the Norm – Julie writes about Bizarre Arizona. (A state near and dear to my heart. I love her pics that let me catch glimpses of my beloved adopted home state.)

Beyond Ghosts – These guys are great. They’re “para-historians” who put together ghost hunting events which serve as preservation fundraisers for historic places.

Ghost Eyes – Don’t let the name fool you. They write about the most haunted places in America. (They, along with Southern Ghosts, were the ones who helped pop my ghost hunting cherry at the Old South Pittsburgh Hospital. But I’m telling you…what a way to bust it! They showed me a GREAT time!)

Ghost Stories and Haunted Places – You may also know this blog’s mistress as the author of the newly released Haunted North Alabama.

Guy & Girl Travels – Joey and Michelle are kindred spirits. They dig traveling to haunted places. They launched their travelzine 2 years ago with an inaugural Halloween edition. Oh, and they are also dog lovers. Their Lil’ Bob Barker isn’t much a traveler like my Murph, but he’s one of their “editors.”

Southern Ghosts – They work closely with Ghost Eyes to set up ghost hunting excursions. They specialize in overnight and weekend investigations. They have “hubs” in two of the most haunted place in the U.S. for sure: Gettysburg and Savannah.
