HorrorAddicts.net Press’s Gift with Purchase Offers

Examples of HorrorAddicts.net Press's free gift with purchase

Do you like receiving gifts with purchase? I know I do. Earlier this year I became aware of a fun one from HorrorAddicts.net Press.

Emerian “Emz” Rich is the managing publisher of HorrorAddicts.net Press. She also happens to be a friend of mine. During her Ghoulish Goodies unboxing, she mentioned that they’d be giving away a special tarot card pack for pre-orders of their upcoming (at that time) release, Dark Divinations.

Tarot cards? That piqued my interest.

The Tarot Cards

It wasn’t a full set, but they’d made a card for each story in the anthology. I shared a few of them in the write up of my chat with Emz and Dark Divinations publisher, Naching T. Kassa, but here they are again.

Because Emz had already sent me a copy of the tarot cards that went Dark Divinations, I told her I didn’t need another set when they mailed out my copy. I didn’t want to hog two and potentially deprive anyone else of getting them.

However, Emz is a generous soul. (I may have already mentioned that?) She said she’d hook me up with some of the other things they’d given away with past books.

The Favor Pack

When she sent the tarot cards, she’d also included a copy of HorrorAddicts.net Press’s Once Upon A Scream along with the favors they’d given with advanced purchases of that anthology.

The favors were in individual little baggies labeled with the author’s name and story title. Each contained a symbol pertinent to the story.

Some were cute, like the little scissors, shirt and sheet music with a bone.

Some were extremely intriguing, like the Make Your Own Nkisi and the Hair for Mr. Shingles.

What other items? Definitely going to have to find out by reading this story.

I’m not sure if that’s real hair or not, but I’ve now got some for Mr. Shingles!

The Extras

But Emz also included a few other gifts they’d given out with other HorrorAddicts.net Press anthologies, including Clockwork Wonderland and Crescendo Into Darkness.

I’m not sure if they included this pack of stickers with their Crescendo of Darkness gift with purchase or not. Emz knows my affinity for skeletons, so maybe she sent it special? I’m not sure. I’ll have to clarify. But either way, I love them!

HorrorAddicts.net Press’s Next Anthology

HorrorAddicts.net Press Haunts and Hellions cover

HorrorAddicts.net Press is currently soliciting submissions for their next anthology, Haunts and Hellions. They’re looking for Gothic romances featuring “a female protagonist dealing with a terrifying ordeal while struggling to be with her true love.”

No word on what kind of gift with purchase, if any, they’ll include with this book, but I’ll be curious to see what they come up with. What about you?
