Crackle Embraces Spooky Season with 4 New Terror-Filled Channels

Crackle TV's four spooky October 2020 channels

Crackle is actually embracing more than just four new terror-filled channels this spooky season. They’re adding five new channels total in October, plus a ton of great horror movies and even an 80s British horror anthology series.

Let’s check out what all they’re offering.

Crackle New Channels

Starting October 1, Crackle is launching five new channels. Four of them are horror movie-heavy. The fifth is fantasy-related. I’ve included it too, because a lot of times there’s crossover between horror and fantasy, right?

This Crackle exclusive picks up the dramatic historical timeline from the film Braveheart about the liberation of Scotland. Robert the Bruce (Angus Macfadyen) finds himself abandoned, wounded and on the run from the English army. Suffering a disastrous defeat, he takes shelter with a former soldier’s wife (Anna Hutchison) and her children who save his life and nurse him back to health. He becomes a part of their family, and they become the first soldiers in his new army as he sets out to claim his long-awaited crown of freedom.

Crackle TV October Spooky Spotlight Titles

Crackle is an advertising-supported video-on-demand (AVOD) network. If you don’t mind the ads, here are some great horror movies and TV shows you can also find on the streamer in October.

Spides

Crackle TV Original series Spides

Sci-fi intrigue at its best! This Crackle TV original series has it all. When police investigators start digging into the distribution of the latest synthetic club drug on the street they find more than they bargained for – mutant teens, underworld mobsters, and alien body snatchers!

The Sonata

Crackle TV exclusive movie The Sonata

This terrifying Crackle exclusive tells the story of a beautiful violin virtuoso (Freya Tingley) who inherits the estate of her estranged composer father (Rutger Hauer) after his passing. Only after she moves in does she realize her father’s obsession with secret societies, music, and the end of the world could create a horrifying symphony of disaster!

I streamed this one and have to say I was pleasantly surprised by it. If you’re a fan of Netflix’s The Haunting of Hill House, you might enjoy Crackle’s The Sonata too.
