TMZ shared exclusive security camera footage of the crash at Zak Bagan’s Haunted Museum in Las Vegas. It shows what appears to be a truck slamming into the fence before crashing into another vehicle at the museum. The impact was so intense it pushed the other vehicle into one of the museum’s signs, busting it up too.
But what happened after the crash at Zak Bagans’ museum? Is it still open? Did the person do it on purpose? Or were they drunk? And what about the person who was in the other vehicle? Are they okay?
Let’s try to figure out answers to all of these questions, but let’s first start with the disturbing video.
Video of Crash at Zak Bagans’ Haunted Museum
TMZ’s video shows the crash from not just one angle, but two. The first is shocking for several reasons.
One, that truck or SUV —can you make out what it is?— launches through the gate.
Second, it doesn’t appear that it was even aiming for the vehicle parked inside the museum’s parking lot, but it totally nails it nonetheless.
The third is when the door to the vehicle that got hit opens and someone steps out. Holy cow! Someone was in there when that happened? According to TMZ, it was the museum’s security guard’s car. We’ll get to him in a second.
Fourth, the crasher doesn’t stop! It’s a haunted museum hit and run!
But the second video has an interesting perspective too. It shows how the vehicle was zooming down the street headed the wrong way before it crashed through the gates.
Apparently, the driver lost control. But did they hurtle over the median earlier or had they been driving on the wrong side of the road for a minute before they lost control?
Who did it?
TMZ didn’t say if the driver has been identified yet, only that “no arrests have been made and the case remains an open investigation.”
Is the security guard okay?
As you see from the video, the security guard was able to walk after the crash. He was taken to the hospital with minor injuries though, but is reportedly on the mend.
Is the museum still open?
Yes! The crash only damaged part of the front gate and the sign, but luckily didn’t crash into the museum itself.
Check-In
Okay, you knew this was coming… Do you think demons temporarily possessed the car or driver?
Courtney Mroch is a globe-trotting restless spirit who’s both possessed by wanderlust and the spirit of adventure, and obsessed with true crime, horror, the paranormal, and weird days. Perhaps it has something to do with her genes? She is related to occult royalty, after all. Marie Laveau, the famous Voodoo practitioner of New Orleans, is one of her ancestors. (Yes, really! As explained here.) That could also explain her infatuation with skeletons.

I think if the driver had been going the wrong way down the street that he was probably drunk, dangerously so. I’m very glad the security guard is going to be okay!
Yes! It could’ve been so much worse. And hopefully it wasn’t. Hopefully they made it home without plowing into anything or anyone else.
