We know what programming will premiere on discovery+ from April 12-25, but this week we even have some Travel Channel paranormal programming info to pass along! Specifically, info about shows that first premiered on discovery+ earlier this year that are now coming to Travel Channel!
This might be welcomed news for those of you wondering why your favorite paranormal shows have moved to discovery+. Well, beyond just “wondering.” A lot of you have been very upset by the change.
It also answers a couple of other questions we’ve had, including:
- Will shows that premiere on discovery+ come to Travel Channel?
- How long will I have to wait to see shows that premiere on discovery+ before they come to Travel Channel?
In some cases, it’s only been about a month or so since episodes of some shows premiered on discovery+ (such as Aliens in Alaska). In others (like Ghost Nation), it’s been almost three months.
However, if you’re ready to get back to watching shows like Ghost Nation, Expedition Bigfoot, The Holzer Files, and more on Travel Channel, here are show, episode, and premiere dates and times.

Check-In
Are any of these shows favorites you’re psyched to see returning to Travel Channel?
Courtney Mroch is a globe-trotting restless spirit who’s both possessed by wanderlust and the spirit of adventure, and obsessed with true crime, horror, the paranormal, and weird days. Perhaps it has something to do with her genes? She is related to occult royalty, after all. Marie Laveau, the famous Voodoo practitioner of New Orleans, is one of her ancestors. (Yes, really! As explained here.) That could also explain her infatuation with skeletons.
Speaking of mystical, to learn how Courtney channeled her battle with cancer to conjure up this site, check out HJ’s Origin Story.
I would love to see the Wasilla, Alaska episode of Aliens in Alaska. Seems to me if the event happened during an outdoor party, then there would be multiple witnesses. They can’t all be so drunk (no disrespect, I just mean it was a party atmosphere) that they mistook firepit embers for spaceship lights.
SUCH a great point! Unless that was some kind of party! lol Seriously, though, now you’ve got me interested! I may have to go check that one out!
