Would you like to spend a little time every day in 2022 reading about haunted houses, paranormal investigators, and the restless dead, i.e. ghosts? If you answered, “Yes!” then you may be interested in the A Year of Ghost Stories Page-A-Day 2022 calendar. I know it sure caught my eye. (And Smalls’ too!)

The Year of Ghosts Stories 2022 Calendar
Because its description from Page-A-Day sums it up so perfectly, here it is:
For the legions of fans of ghost-related TV shows, podcasts, and movies to feed people’s love for a good fright, Ghost Stories presents a whole year packed day after day with creepy myths, mystical folklore, urban legends, and hair-raising first-person accounts. Learn about scary specters, like the ghost with an ax in his head who will chase you through the Colorado wilderness. Or friendly phantoms, like a ghost horse who warns boats in danger of wrecking. Plus all about seances, profiles of professional ghost hunters and famous spirits, and ghosts in literature and entertainment.
Yeah, that was something I was curious to check out, so I ordered one. (Except from Amazon, because I found it there first.)
A Year of Ghost Stories 2022 Calendar Quick Peek
The thing I like about these kinds of calendars is that each day’s entries are short, yet informative and entertaining.
I posted a Shorts to YouTube to give you an idea of some of its content, which is embedded below:

Check-In
Do you buy a certain type of calendar every year? Do you prefer wall, desk or something else? And is it usually a certain theme or just whatever strikes your fancy each year?
I’m not normally nuts about desk calendars. For whatever reason, I usually prefer wall ones and get the same one year after year, ie. the Llewellyn’s Astrological Calendar.
However, this year I will have two. Who knows? Maybe one of the entries will spark another book idea.
Because the last time I had a desk calendar like this was when I was a paralegal. My sister gifted me one about bizarre but true legal cases and one about a vampire burial was the catalyst for my first novel. (Which is now out of print. Otherwise, I’d do some more shameless self-promotion.)
Courtney Mroch is a globe-trotting restless spirit who’s both possessed by wanderlust and the spirit of adventure, and obsessed with true crime, horror, the paranormal, and weird days. Perhaps it has something to do with her genes? She is related to occult royalty, after all. Marie Laveau, the famous Voodoo practitioner of New Orleans, is one of her ancestors. (Yes, really! As explained here.) That could also explain her infatuation with skeletons.
Speaking of mystical, to learn how Courtney channeled her battle with cancer to conjure up this site, check out HJ’s Origin Story.
The Year of Ghost Stories page-a-day is a cool idea. I use one calander, a simple engagement calendar, paper, the more minimalist the better because I get distracted too easily.:-)
I would love to have that, maybe I’ll order it after the first of the month –
Oooo! You reminded me I also was using an engagement calendar too. Because really? YOU get distracted easily? OMG this is so comforting to hear! I always envision you so super organized and unruffled or undeterred. I LOVE knowing you also have to struggle to stay focused! (BUt it’s shocking because I never would’ve guessed that! lol)
LOL! I can relate! I had to wait until after the end-of-the-month payday before I bought it last month. But if you do get it I hope you’re as impressed with it as I am so far. I mean, literally, I’ve only flipped through it to see what it was all about. Then I decided I didn’t want to wreck the surprise for each day. lol
I love calendars, and this would be a great addition to my 2022 calendar collection LOL (funny, though, I can never remember what today’s date is!)
OMG that’s too funny! ROFL!!!
