In 2020, a lot of paracons and horror fests found themselves pivoting and becoming virtual streaming events. But that went for cons of all kinds, including true crime ones. I’m not sure why CrimeCon has decided to do another At Home one this year, but it’s great for true crime fans. They’ve planned a Holiday Escape starting at 7:30 p.m. ET on Black Friday, November 26, which, yes, is free. However, you still have to RSVP.

Let’s check out what we know so far, including how to attend.

CrimeCon At Home: Holiday Escape Description

Per the description on their website, their Holiday Escape event will provide “a night full of true crime, entertainment and maybe even a few special surprises.”

They haven’t announced the programming lineup yet, but they promise “session and guests announcements are coming soon.” They also assure those interested that it will be “an evening with old favorites as well as some new faces and cases.”

I didn’t attend last year’s CrimeCon At Home, but for those who did they say it will be a lot like that. Or, as they put it, “a night full of true crime, entertainment and maybe even a few special surprises.”

How To Attend

The virtual event starts at 7:30 p.m. ET on November 26 and can be watched from anywhere on any device, including mobile phones, tablets, computers, and TVs.

But you do have to RSVP by submitting your email on their quick registration form. (See the For More Info below for the link.)

  1. Thanks! And I’ve never done Black Friday shopping… *laugh*

Smart. We went once. That was enough for me. I don’t like shopping that much or trying to get a good deal that much. It’d have to be something really amazing to get me out of bed that early! lol
