Are you a Dateline NBC fan too? Confession time: I love them all, but I shiver with excitement when I tune in and discover it’s a Keith Morrison episode. I think he’s why I fell in love with Dateline to begin with. Or fell harder I should say.
Anyway, when I first learned of CrimeCon at Home: Holiday Escape they hadn’t released a programming lineup yet. I wondered if Dateline would be a part of it.
Would it even be possible to have a CrimeCon and not have Dateline there in some form or fashion? I don’t know, but it turns out it will be represented and by fan-favorite Keith Morrison to boot!
Let’s check out not only what he’ll be talking about, but which other guests have been announced.
CrimeCon at Home: Holiday Escape Guests
I’m not sure if there will be more, but in addition to Keith Morrison, these three guests will also be there:
- Correspondent Tom Llamas (NBC News NOW) will interview Keith Morrison.
- Threat management expert Spencer Coursen
- Body language expert Traci Brown
Keith Morrison at Holiday Escape
Per the email announcing his appearance, to celebrate the show’s 30th season, Keith Morrison will talk about “all things Dateline” with Tom Llamas in this exclusive interview.
However, they’ll also talk about Morrison’s new #1 podcast, The Thing about Helen & Olga. The tagline for the show is, “Two old ladies. Two mysterious deaths. One horrifying plot…”
I remember this case from a past Dateline episode, but it’s been transformed into a six-episode podcast. The full season of which you can listen to on all major podcast platforms.

Check-In
Can you believe Dateline is in its 30th season?
Courtney Mroch is a globe-trotting restless spirit who’s both possessed by wanderlust and the spirit of adventure, and obsessed with true crime, horror, the paranormal, and weird days. Perhaps it has something to do with her genes? She is related to occult royalty, after all. Marie Laveau, the famous Voodoo practitioner of New Orleans, is one of her ancestors. (Yes, really! As explained here.) That could also explain her infatuation with skeletons.
Speaking of mystical, to learn how Courtney channeled her battle with cancer to conjure up this site, check out HJ’s Origin Story.
THIRTIETH season? Good heavens, that makes me feel old.:-)
Okay good. I’m glad to hear I wasn’t the only one who felt that way! lol
This was a cool event!
Ahhhh!!! You got to attend? We were out of town staying with friends who ended up having a get together that night so I wasn’t able to. I was so bummed but I’m excited to know you got to go. Did you happen to write about it or anything? I need to go check that out! (I may answer my own Q! lol)
