Thanks to a recent issue of Woman’s World magazine, I came across some cool hotel and museum freebies. They could potentially be applied to any Haunt Jaunts you’d like to make. (Say to a Spooky Stay, Apparition Attraction or Historic Haunt.)

VOLUNTEER REWARDS

Do you do volunteer work anywhere? Complete eight hours for a 501(c)(3) nonprofit and you could net yourself a free or half-priced night’s hotel stay with Sage Hospitality’s “Give a Day, Get a Night” program!

By clicking the links provided above, you’ll also see the codes you’ll need to use in order to net these FABOO deals.

I scanned the list and didn’t notice any high profile Spooky Stays right off the bat. However, even if you just want to getaway somewhere and take in a ghost tour or check out a haunted house, this would help take a chunk out of the overall costs.

(Note: Availability is limited and you’ll need a letter from your non-profit specifying you did in fact complete your eight hours. Offer ends December 20, 2009.)

FREE DAY AT THE MUSEUM

Saturday, September 26, 2009 is Museum Day. More than 1,000 museums will participate by offering free admission.

You’ll need a Museum Day card. Click here to go to the website where you can print yours out.

Click here to see the participating museums you can visit. (See any Historic Haunts or Apparition Attractions?)
