Skinwalker Ranch
Skinwalker Ranch is located in the Uintah Valley region of Utah, which is often referred to as “UFO alley.” Since the 1950s, the area has been the site of decades of study and worldwide media attention. The first time I remember learning about it was in 2018 when the Hunt for the Skinwalker documentary was released. It was based on a bestselling book of the same name by George Knapp and Dr. Colm Kelleher. (Except the documentary wasn’t as well-received as the book.)

But HISTORY’s The Secret of Skinwalker Ranch has been well-received if Google users and IMDB ratings are any indication. 85% of Google users like it. Overall on IMDB it has a 6 out of 10 stars rating, but individual episodes often rank higher. Season 1 episodes each ranked consistently in the high 6s or low 7s. Season 2 episodes did even better, ranking in the high 7s to low 8s.

The Secret of Skinwalker Ranch Season 3 Overview
Over the past two years, the team, led by current ranch owner Brandon Fugal and astrophysicist, aerospace engineer and optical scientist Dr. Travis Taylor, has conducted numerous scientific experiments to engage the mysterious phenomena on the ranch.
This season, they elevate their investigative journey to new heights. They invite guest investigators to take part in experiments, including former government officials and military officers. They also reveal new secrets in an attempt to finally answer the question: what’s really happening on Skinwalker Ranch?
Season 3 grants full, unprecedented access to one of the most infamous and secretive hotspots of paranormal and unidentified aerial phenomena (UAP)-related activities on earth. The accredited team of scientists, researchers, and experts push their experiments beyond anything that has been done on the ranch before.
