Nick Groff’s series, Death Walker, premiered on discovery+ U.K. in 2021, but that left U.S. fans wondering when it would premiere in the U.S. Well, we finally have a bit of an update. On Apr. 20, 2022, Groff Tweeted a huge announcement about the U.S. premiere that would take place in four months, on August 20.
However, the premiere isn’t happening on discovery+ U.S. At least not yet. A lot of fans asked Groff on his Tweet, “When and where can we watch it in the U.S.?” but he still hasn’t answered that.
We’ll explore where it is premiering, though, after first recapping what Death Walker is all about.
About Death Walker
Here’s the description from IMDB:
Nick Groff theorizes and investigates the origin of some of the most notorious hauntings in America, redefining our understanding of the paranormal.
Judging from the trailer (which is embedded below), Groff is on a mission to determine “once and for all, can something actually attack the living?” He specifically targets haunted places known for their dark, malevolent energy —and encourages said entities to show themselves and demonstrate their prowess.

Check-In
Which episode(s) are you most curious to see?
One that piqued my interest is the Electro-Magnetic Sanitorium. That’s a new one to me. I’d be curious to learn more about it and see how his experiment went!
Courtney Mroch is a globe-trotting restless spirit who’s both possessed by wanderlust and the spirit of adventure, and obsessed with true crime, horror, the paranormal, and weird days. Perhaps it has something to do with her genes? She is related to occult royalty, after all. Marie Laveau, the famous Voodoo practitioner of New Orleans, is one of her ancestors. (Yes, really! As explained here.) That could also explain her infatuation with skeletons.
Speaking of mystical, to learn how Courtney channeled her battle with cancer to conjure up this site, check out HJ’s Origin Story.
I’d love to see the Haunted Hill House episode because it takes place close to where I live!
Oooo! How cool! Have you been there? Or in it? Ahhhhh!!! Love it! (I’m secretly super fascinated by that place…which I guess is not a secret now. lol)
Nope, haven’t been there…yet!
What the hell is wrong with Discovery+? Are they out of their minds? Instead, they have stupid shit like Ghost Brothers and bonehead Jack Osbourne. And now I’ve seen it all with this stupid Kesha paranormal show!!! Really? Is that what the Travel Channel thinks we want to see? Some skanky Illuminati throwback who doesn’t know the first thing about paranormal investigations. And why, in all that is holy, did they kick the Tennessee Wraith Chasers to the curb? Those guys were professional, smart, entertaining, on the ball, and produced some of the best paranormal content and proof I have ever seen.
You are not alone in wondering what happened to the TWC. (Which, you’re the second person to comment about that recently. You gave me a great idea for a post, so thank you.)
As far as programming goes…sadly I believe it’s become more of a business/partnership/collaboration model. Kesha had a new album coming out, so part of her show was to give her more visibity again. (Even though…ooof. Lots of the big entertainment sites raved about her show, but yikes. I made it 10 minutes –if that– and cut out. Couldn’t do it.)
But I think it’s lucrative for Discovery to have bigger names so… Expect that to be more of the direction they go. Not that I’m positive about that. Just judging from how I’ve seen them bring in everybody from Robert Englund and Dan Ackroyd to Eli Roth on projects.
Thanks for sharing your thoughts. Love reading honest comments like this.
Well, why don’t they GIVE people the ability to have “bigger names.” The Tennessee Wraith Chasers WERE making a name for themselves before they were given the boot. That angered me to no end, especially when they were replaced by the “Goof Off” Brothers and Jerk Osbourne! Neither of which know the first thing about results-inducing paranormal investigations. Destination Fear would be okay, if they didn’t spend half the show complaining about the location they’re going to and doing some off the wall, meaningless pre-investigation activity, like eating at a strange location, or pretending to bungee jump, or blindfoldingly sticking their hands in a vat of spaghetti. Just plain dumb, and it leaves little to no time left in the hour to investigate.
Now, I know that she needs to stay relevant and keep the paychecks coming in, but Katrina couldn’t have been too happy with being teamed up with Jerk after having been in an exceptional show, “Paranormal Lockdown,” with Nick, another one that was also kicked to the curb! I’m sorry, but both those people have made a name for themselves, and to dis that show reminded me of all the stupidity that went on over at the Sci-Fi channel directly after changing their stupid name to Syfy. They had hit shows that they gave walking papers to, namely, Eureka, Warehouse 13, and Haven. Now look at Syfy! They are only a shell of what they once were, and their audience has dwindled down to almost nothing because management there doesn’t know what the hell they are doing! Travel Channel really needs to get their act together, as well, and get their heads out of their butts or they will be suffering the same fate! Now Jerk Osbourne, on top of his other eight shows, has Jerk Osbourne’s Alien Show … or something like that. Really? I don’t know one person who finds that guy entertaining in the least. If anything, he’s freakin’ annoying and needs to go clean sewers or bend paper clips or something that he would be much better at.
You’re venting a lot of people frustrations, I’m sure. Wish I had some answers for you about the direction paranormal entertainment is heading. I have some thoughts. Pretty much it’s going to be all about entertainment and getting other well-known names (like Kesha, Jack Osbourne, etc) involved for the name recognition and cross-over promoting aspects. And it will continue getting more over the top. I fully expect to see shows about spectrophilia next.
I want to see the Haunted Hill House episode. I have a show called Haunted Nation on Paraflixx paranormal plus network and we had the craziest evidence at the Haunted Hill House. I would love to see what kind of evidence he captured. Especially because he likes to be alone in a location and a lot of the spirits at the Hill House love it when you are alone. I personally believe it is the most haunted place in the country.
Hey Ryan! Thanks so much for taking the time to leave this comment and share your show. Now I’m curious to see what activity both you and Nick got! lol
