Was there enough of an unsolved mystery to warrant a part 2 of The House in Between? Well, as Steve Gonsalves puts in the trailer, “This is the most thorough paranormal investigation that has ever been documented.”
Something else that’s also pointed out in the trailer (which is included below) is that the original House in Between and its sequel documents “a paranormal case study spanning more than a decade.”
But what can we expect to see in part 2? And who can we expect to see?
One thing we can glean from the poster, it does involve the same location, which is a paranormally active house in Mississippi owned by Alice Jackson. And by “paranormally,” we’re talking about possible alien activity as well as hauntings. Or is it all related and just different sides of the same coin? Steve Gonsalves presented that hypothesis in part 1. Maybe they’ll prove it in part 2?
Speaking of, in addition to executive producers Gonsalves and Kendall Whelpton, will local paranormal investigators John Bullard and Brad Cooney return again? What about other celeb TV investigators? Did they recruit any familiar faces to join them?
Most importantly, are they any closer to accomplishing their mission, which is to help Alice Jackson understand what’s happening in her home so she can reclaim it and live there peacefully?
Also important, when does it premiere and where can we watch it?
Since I haven’t seen it yet, I don’t have answers to some of these questions, but I have answers to others. Let’s dive into those.
The House in Between Part 2 Storyline
Here’s the synopsis that accompanied the trailer on Gravitas Ventures’ YouTube channel:
After Alice Jackson left her home due to a profound paranormal experience, world renown paranormal investigator Steve Gonsalves takes on the case making it his personal mission to help Alice face her fears so she can move back into her home. This film is the much anticipated follow up to the hit documentary The House in Between. Part two the continuation shows a detailed look at one of the most haunted homes in America and the real-life struggles of Alice Jackson and the team working to help Alice get back into her home. Science and the paranormal come together bringing one of the most thorough paranormal investigations ever documented. Who or what is haunting Alice’s home?
Who’s in The House in Between: Part 2?
According to IMDB, homeowner Alice Jackson returns (which makes sense), and so do John Bullard and Brad Cooney. And I’ve already mentioned that Whelpton and Gonsalves are back too.
But three other celebs join the group this time, including Elizabeth Saint, Dustin Pari and Sam Baltrusis.
The House in Between: Part 2 Release Date
The documentary releases on Jun. 21, 2022.

It’s a digital and VOD release so check your cable provider and expect to be able to purchase it on all of the usual suspects, including iTunes, Google Play, Prime Video, YouTube, etc.

Check-In
Did you see the original The House in Between?
Courtney Mroch is a globe-trotting restless spirit who’s both possessed by wanderlust and the spirit of adventure, and obsessed with true crime, horror, the paranormal, and weird days. Perhaps it has something to do with her genes? She is related to occult royalty, after all. Marie Laveau, the famous Voodoo practitioner of New Orleans, is one of her ancestors. (Yes, really! As explained here.) That could also explain her infatuation with skeletons.
Speaking of mystical, to learn how Courtney channeled her battle with cancer to conjure up this site, check out HJ’s Origin Story.
I’m going to watch The House in Between part one soon!
I’ll be curious to hear your thoughts about it when you do!
Actually, it’s a RE-watch for me. I had seen it when it first came out but wanted to see it again so I’d remember stuff before watching part 2. I streamed it again last night. The video clips when no one is home and doors close so soundly did send chills up my spine. And investigators’ descriptions of how the place feels also piqued my interest.
OH!!! {insert egg-on-face forehead slap here} lol But even better because talk about instant gratification…I didn’t have to wait long at all to hear your thoughts! lol Thanks!
No forehead slap needed. I didn’t make myself clear in my first comment. It was just as interesting the second time around. Now I’m really excited to see part 2!
OH!!! Phew!!!! lol
