It looks like the Warner Bros. Discovery merger didn’t kill all Travel Channel paranormal shows after all. In addition to a new season of The Dead Files starting September 7, Jack Osbourne’s Night of Terror returns on October 1. However, talk about a hell of a way to start the season. It kicks off with his mom, Sharon Osbourne, experiencing a frightening paranormal scare that leads to a medical emergency.
Word has it she’s okay. (Phew.) They still don’t know what exactly happened, but she returns in the two-hour season finale along with Jack’s dad, the Prince of Darkness himself, Ozzy Osbourne, and Jack’s sister Kelly. Together they visit various haunted locales in an old town in Nevada.
In addition to his famous family members, Jack will also welcome others along for Night of Terror trysts. Some of his close celebrity friends joining him this season include Jenny McCarthy, Jason Mewes, and Jamie Kennedy.
Let’s look at the haunted places they’ll explore this season, starting with the premiere episode.

Which Jack Osbourne’s Night of Terror episode(s) are you looking forward to most? (All is always an acceptable answer!)
Courtney Mroch is a globe-trotting restless spirit who’s both possessed by wanderlust and the spirit of adventure, and obsessed with true crime, horror, the paranormal, and weird days. Perhaps it has something to do with her genes? She is related to occult royalty, after all. Marie Laveau, the famous Voodoo practitioner of New Orleans, is one of her ancestors. (Yes, really! As explained here.) That could also explain her infatuation with skeletons.
Speaking of mystical, to learn how Courtney channeled her battle with cancer to conjure up this site, check out HJ’s Origin Story.
Thank goodness for some new programming. I’m guessing that he’s an Osborne saved him from the chop.
It’s the trope about stirring up ghosts by renovating… the Tinker Swiss Cottage episode sounds interesting. Oh no, sorry to hear about Sharon Osbourne! I hope she is fully recovered.
Oh, the image your second sentence conjured in my mind, Maria…BWAHAHAHAHA!!!!
Oooo! I like you’re answer, Vera! And also hope Sharon Osbourne is okay too. Yikes.
Too bad the REAL ghost hunter, Katrina Weidman, got the shaft, and they kept the apprentice, who’ll be pretending like he knows how to hunt spirits with a load of even bigger amateurs. I’m not really into watching people, who have no clue what they’re doing, hunt ghosts. Frankly, it’s ridiculous. Well, that’s show business for ya. I won’t be watching this amateuristic tripe. No Kindred Spirits, no Portals to Hell, no Destination Fear, no Ghost Hunters, no Wraith Chasers, but by gosh, we get Jack Osbourne and maybe ONE good episode when he’s with Jason Mewes, and that’s about it. Wonderful! Go Warner Bros.! Man, they sure got it goin’ on, don’t they? It’s all about the greenbacks … they think! But, little do they know, they’ll be losing on this front! You can bet on it!
P.S. Good thing Sharon’s okay. She’s a sweetie.
