The fourth season of Creepshow returns just in time for Halloween season. Even better, the hit horror anthology premieres with a six-episode binge on Friday, October 13. The remaining episodes will air weekly on Shudder and AMC+ and at 10 pm ET/ 9 CT on AMC linear.
Executive produced by showrunner Greg Nicotero (The Walking Dead Universe), it’s based on George A. Romero’s iconic 1982 horror-comedy classic and is still the most fun you’ll ever have being scared.
“A comic book comes to life in a series of vignettes, exploring terrors ranging from murder, creatures, monsters, and delusions to the supernatural and unexplainable. You never know what will be on the next page…”
The Creepshow trailer gives us a little idea of what to expect. Horror in the form of werewolves, madmen, zombies, ghosts, and maybe even aliens? (Not sure about that last one. There’s a clip with a figure silhouetted in front of bright lights and a saucer-like disk that made me think of aliens.)
And then there’s the humor. The spoken lines they chose to share in the trailer go a little something like this:
Woman 1: “You’re scaring me.”
An unseen man: “You have no idea what you are dealing with.”
An older man: “Something beyond your comprehension.”
Then there’s some creepy music and terror-filled scenes before a young woman says, “Some people deserve to rot,” as a body slams into the ground behind her.
Another unseen man: “It’s kill or be killed out there.”
While a Polaroid camera takes a picture of who knows what, a voice says, “Everyone has a price to pay.” (And if that voice doesn’t belong to a ventriloquist doll, it should!)
“Sacrifice must be made,” the older man says.
It’s all cleverly stitched together to get the point across. This looks like another good season of the Creepshow fans know and love.

Courtney Mroch is a globe-trotting restless spirit who’s both possessed by wanderlust and the spirit of adventure, and obsessed with true crime, horror, the paranormal, and weird days. Perhaps it has something to do with her genes? She is related to occult royalty, after all. Marie Laveau, the famous Voodoo practitioner of New Orleans, is one of her ancestors. (Yes, really! As explained here.) That could also explain her infatuation with skeletons.
