Not only have I met a ton of neat people this past year, I’ve been to a lot of neat places. Some were places I never expected to go. A couple were on my Bucket List.

Since it’s Wednesday and I’ve tried to feature images for Wordless Wednesdays this past year, I thought posting favorite images from this year’s jaunts would be a sort of fun way to celebrate Haunt Jaunts second anniversary.

Some you may have seen before, others might be new. I hope you enjoy viewing them as much as I enjoy reliving the happy memories they bring.

INDIANA – JULY 2010

This jaunt was a sad one, not a haunted one. It was to Munster, Indiana for my aunt’s funeral. However, on the way back we stopped at Fair Oaks Farm Dairy Adventure and treated ourselves to the best ice cream cones we’ve ever had. This place is definitely on our list of must eat spots. We’re hoping to have an excuse to drive back by some day.

OLD SOUTH PITTSBURGH HOSPITAL JAUNT WITH GHOST EYES – JULY 2010

What a blast I had losing my ghost hunting virginity at the Old South Pittsburgh Hospital with Steve and Angie from Ghost Eyes, Jessica from Ghost Stories and Haunted Places, and Jeremy of Rocket City Paranormal. It was a hot and sweaty night to remember!

THE “BIG” 10 DAY CANADA/NEW ENGLAND CRUISE – SEPTEMBER 2010

We hit nine cities in 10 days, including New York City, Newport, Gloucester, Bar Harbor, Halifax, Sydney, Charlottetown/Prince Edward Island, Saguenay, and Quebec City. Here are some of my fave pictures. (The majority of which are from Quebec City, which I fell head over heels madly and irreversibly in love with.)

WESTERN CARIBBEAN CRUISE – FEBRUARY 2011

This was our first big outing for 2011. We hit New Orleans, Costa Maya, Cozumel, Belize City, and Roatan. It might prove to be the big jaunt for the year since San Francisco and Las Vegas have now fallen through. (At the beginning of the year I thought both of those were likely.)

Well, no matter what, at least we had a blast on this last trip of Haunt Jaunts calendar year. (Which also provided more fun pics!)

  1. Excellent photos. Those iguanas are monsters!

  2. Great pics! I think your feet need to grow some more before fitting into those boots in the last shot though.

  3. LMAO! My legs too. Those are some mighty tall boots and I’m just a wee girl. (Height wise.)

  4. AGREED!!!! Glad someone else thought that too!

  5. You have certainly been to lots of fantastic places. I loved all the photos.

  6. Sure didn’t know I’d be seeing most of them either. THANKS for the photo comment too. You know I consider that high praise coming from a photographer I GREATLY admire! 😉

  7. Thanks for this nice photographic tour. You went to a lot of great places and saw some really cool stuff!!!

Haven’t been in the position to jaunt much myself the last couple years. This spirit is definitely getting restless. 🙂

  8. Oh, you’re welcome! THANKS for stopping by and checking it out AND leaving a comment!

And I can relate. From 2007-2009 there was not much jaunting going on. I think we got so restless then we’re still trying to get it out of our system! 😉

  9. Really these are very good places. Images are very nice. I think that, you had enjoyed a lot. Thanks for sharing.
